H’Art of Zen Zazen requires no fees to join. Our purpose is to provide a bridge between Christian and Buddhist awareness, aiding those who are seeking a more reasonable expression of spirituality through interaction with others on that voyage, too. The Zazen highly recommends meditation practices to aid in the clearing of acculturated concepts and ideologies that hold us all back from unification, individually as well as universally. Meditation methods are taught in your area, through Buddhist, Yogic, or even some Christian community groups. We encourage you take advantage of the resources available to you near your home. Meditation instruction is available in books, CDs, videos and DVDs as well. Check out

I take refuge in the Buddha,
I take refuge in the Sangha,
I take refuge in the Dharma,
That I may be emptied in service to all sentient beings,
That through loving kindness and compassionate action in the world,
Suffering may be ended in this time and all others,
And joy be restored to all.
CHRISTIAN
I take refuge in the Risen Christ,
I take refuge in the Compassionate Community of man,
I take refuge in the scriptural teachings of the Compassionate Christ,
That I may detach from worldly obsessions in the manner of St. Teresa of Avila,
That through loving kindness and compassionate healing expressed through the True Christ,
Suffering may be ended in this time and all others,
And joy be restored to all.
